Betfred’s sportsbook isn’t particularly extensive. 22 sports are covered by the bookie, ranging from hurling to football. There’s a clear emphasis placed on the more popular sports and events, with The Hundred and the Tokyo Olympics prominent at the time of writing.

Their football coverage is sufficient but far from outstanding. While a multitude of matches across the globe are offered hourly, the markets available are fairly basic.

Nevertheless, the bookie’s odds are the most crucial element here, and to measure the quality of Betfred’s margins, we used the odds overround.

The overround is a calculation that combines the total percentage probability of all selections in a match coming true. Naturally, the result of this should come to 100% – however, this does not factor in the profits made by the bookmaker.
